Katie spent the last week of September babysitting Naomi's dog Bentley while Naomi and Sas went to Las Vegas. Mark joined Katie in LA on October 1st. After a great dinner we tried to go to Giffith Observatory but a Dwight Yoakam concert at the Greek Theater meant the park was packed. Went for a short sunset hike in Griffith Park instead.

We drove to Livermore on the 2nd and spent the next several days visiting Katie's mom. Spent much of Saturday, October 4, visiting Eric, Carol, Emily, and Anders in Los Altos. Had a great lunch at Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ. Delicious food and wonderful to see everybody.

On Monday, October 6, we were in Yosemite National Park. Drove through Yosemite Valley and then to Glacier Point. Yosemite is beautiful and we hope to get back and spend significant time there. Photos from this trip can be found here: Gallery
